This is a valuable service for members of REC. Call us with questions relating to your clients, candidates or your own staff, we can help. Ring the REC Members Legal Helpline on 0845 3700 732, or email your questions to legal@rec.uk.com, quoting your membership number.

Corporate and Individual members have direct access to three Legal Advisors, three qualified Lawyers and a HR specialist, all with unique expertise in recruitment law. The team are available to resolve your issues every working day from 9-5.

We promise to deal with all queries promptly and if you do not receive advice as soon as you call we guarantee that you will receive a response within the following timescales:

Telephone queries will be responded to within
1 working day
Queries submitted by email or the “ask a question” submission will be responded to within 3 working days

Members will be asked to confirm their membership status so please have your membership details to hand when you contact us.

Online Legal Clinic

Once a month the REC Legal Team operate an Online Legal Clinic. This is an opportunity for members to ask their legal questions online in the REC Chatroom.

To access the Legal Online Clinic members should access the Legal Resources page of the website, click on ‘Legal Helpline’ and then ‘Legal Online Clinic’. The topic of the monthly Clinics together with dates and times which are held, will be advertised to members either via the website or email updates.
