Tracking Reports
Q2 2008 Tracking Results – available now!
In January 2006, the Unit commissioned BMG Research to undertake a monthly tracking survey with three key audiences: employers, agencies and agency workers. Every month 100 interviews are completed with each audience providing a 360o profile that can be tracked over time. Results are reported on a quarterly basis using a three month rolling average.
Key findings from this research are presented in this report. These data are NOT yet seasonally adjusted.- The trend in the number of registered workers seems to be falling since August 07
- The number of workers on assignment is relatively stable this quarter
- Employers use of agencies remained the same this quarter
- Fewer workers said it was easy to find temporary work in Q2
- The number of agencies that workers have registered with seems to have stabilised
- The number of assignments worked on has fallen in the last year, with a slight upturn in Q2
- Satisfaction with temporary work remains stable and at a consistently high level
- Agency staff satisfaction has risen to previous levels after the recent drop
